Aims

First People Care Solutions aims to recruit and supply a high calibre of Health & Social Care Workers who will provide a quality service of care to the 'Service User' within Inpatient, Centre Based, Outreach, Domiciliary Care and Detached settings.

Applicants

Experienced full time / part time Carers & Support workers required, hours to suit.

SVQ Level 2 or Level 3 preferred but not essential

Typically carers assist with the following: Meal Preparation, Assistance with bathing/showering/dressing, Housework & Laundry, Shopping, Assistance to take medication and escorting to appointments.

  • Nursing & Residential Care Homes
  • Homecare
  • Supported Living
  • Community Care

We are registered with the Scottish Care Commission and United Kingdom Home Care Association and we provide a 24hr service.

All care staff are rigorously vetted prior to registering, this includes:

  • 2 References
  • Enhanced Disclosure Scotland Certificate
  • Proof of Address letter
  • Successful completion of  an Induction Programme

Training

All Care Staff participate in a comprehensive 2 day induction training programme which covers the following:

  • Manual Handling
  • Food Hygiene
  • Fire Training
  • Infection Control
  • Safe Handling of Medication
  • Pressure Care Training
  • Protection of Children & Vulnerable Adults
  • Dementia Awareness

We can also offer training in Moving & Handling to Nursing & Residential Care Homes.
